TO THE RIVER OF LIFE CHURCH FAMILY,
We are living through some difficult days with the spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent restrictions placed on our society. "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us" (Romans 8:37).
With circumstances and restrictions changing rapidly, our plans have been forced to be fluid. As of this moment, our plan is to have our Sunday morning services online at www.riveroflife.ag. I will also do a midweek message that will appear on our webpage beginning this Wednesday, March 18.
Along with my regular weekly article that will appear on Facebook and our webpage, I will write a brief daily "word" that will appear on our Facebook page.
Our prayer ministry will be up and running 24/7, so if you have a prayer need please notify us through the usual means and we will place it on our prayer chain.
We always say that the church is not a building, it's the people. While we all appreciate meeting together in our beautiful facility and look forward to the day we can do so again, this is our opportunity to BE THE CHURCH outside of a building.
So let's stay connected with each other. I encourage you to maintain contact with the RLA family through calling, emailing, texting, writing, or some other means of communication.
Don't forget that God has presented a unique opportunity for us to minister to and reach people for Christ during this time. What the enemy means for evil, God means for good!
I also encourage you to engage in the powerful ministry of intercessory prayer. Pray for our President. Pray for our national, state, and local leaders. Pray for healthcare professionals, first responders, and law enforcement. Pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ. And pray for our nation that as we look to the Lord, He will heal our land!
You remain in our prayers. Be encouraged today. God is still FOR us (Romans 8:31), He is still WITH us (Matthew 28:20, and He will bring us through (Daniel 3:17).
